I am developing a 50 acre tract for a survival type mobil home park. We have deep and shallow wells, fuel tanks, generator. I have had this property for several years and had been planning a mobil home park for retirement income in about 15 years.
Many y2k'rs will have more than ample info and wait until it does them no good. If they wait until Peter Jennings tells them to "head for the hills" the freeway will be clogged.

Thank you for the response. Uncle Mike probably wanted you to show me asone of your "reps" in "Texas" for your network. I have given hiim much y2kinfo in the last few months.
I have been involved with Y2k stuff sincelate 1997 and have started pesonal preparations in Spring 1998. Yourwebsite helpd me locate Dennis Elenberg back in May here in Dallas. He isnow a friend that I see frequently. My wife and I continue to pray aboutwhere God wants us to minister now and for the next ? years consideringy2k. At first we wanted to move out of Dallas to East Texas. To move tothe country has always been a dream and is still astron desire but for somereason God has delayed us for the time being.
I talk to folks every weekabout y2k. Some are still skeptical, some want more info, some have justseen the light. I am trying to get my church to address the issue and haveanother meeting with my pastor next Tuesday. I initially talked to him 3months ago. He now says he wants to talk seriously. Please pray for me onthis as we have about 120 families in our church and our neighborhood isright smack in the middle of North Dallas. Quite a field for harvest.

I have a rural homestead in The hill country on 12 acres.I am intrestedin finding others who might want to relocate.This place has organicfenced gardens and the best soil in the area.It has 2 houses and twotrailers for housing acoomodations.One of the houses is a large 3000 sq.ft beauty with wrap around porches(cooling in summer) and airtight woodstove that can heat the whole house.It has a deep well and a largechickenhouse and pen.Beautiful ,secluded setting.The house also has a huge kitchen and is arranged in such a way that itcould easily be shared by more than one family if necessary....perhapswhile building another dwelling?
AM intrested in finding folks that would be intrested in formingcommunity whether Y2k was a reality or not but who see the necessity of"getting on with it" sooner than later.This could also be an option for those who are community minded but notsure they want to make a jump to arural life permanently but would liketo be there "in case"I am willing to sellportions of this land ( tocommunity minded people) but I see other options as well.
