Information on Silly Cat (2024)

Hello. How are you gentlemen?!

See, our long-demented meme consists of the caption that seems to anger many people and, below it, an animated picture of a cat that claims that you are a boykisser. Note the wording.

Not everyone would like to acknowledge or unacknowledge whatever related to their romantical relationships among people, and would rather get upset. If set upset enough, it could turn to anger that is vent on the character below the title, that is, the cat.

Rumors have it the term is commonly used in the loud community of deviating people that is used against all target subjects. It is as well used as a mindless slang insult solely to anger an opponent without a real base.

Creation

Mauzymice, in case you forget.

Early hints appeared way back to June 22, 2022, when Mauzymice the freelancer artist gave the world a looped animation of Silly Cat telling Some Thing and trying to hypnotise its listener, probably trying to make you upvote it.

The Silly Cat by itself could be characterised as a rather playful character that just lives the life. The author created several animations of it doing various activities and showing various emotions. That is all. There are many opinions on Silly Cat around, but multiple people agree: it is cute.

That sky was peaceful right until the very start of January 2023. At some point Some Unknown Guy stapled that cat animation together with that infamous caption, and let it float in private Discord servers. It's not very surprising given the reports on what the Discord is. Soon enough to the middle of January it started going outside to other places such as Reddit, and later Twatter, while mutating in various aspects.

It wasn't the first hint though. Predating it was the November stapling on another animation with caption reading `This is how you look saying this sh*t'. In that case the Cat is meowing.

During the entire 2023 memes with Silly Cat as a main character flied all around, while descending into genuine madness making people hate the Cat. Want to see some examples?

How that all has gone? Lets glimpsle into materials available on-line on Reddit just to taste the level of madness the meme once degrode to.

Right at first search we see some subreddit named `boykisser34'. Given the reference to 4chan's rule 34, this doesn't actually tell us much besides the fact the rule 34 works. Yet even this subreddit needs some moderation. The following posts are from a different subreddit, however.

On the first look at articles themselves we can first see severe unawareness of the subject. Example:

Here everyone is spewing mindless driwel on oh how cute it is while continuing shoehorning `boykisser' nametag on it. Nobody seems to tell who made this. But look closer… It clearly IS Mauzymice artwork from twat #1399098755341860872. Sure, twat numbers got really long now; start reading it from quintillions. Even the appropriate watermark present here. Yet people still fail to get a clue on who made it. And know what? It's not even the cat to begin with! Do they even notice that watermark at all? Our people are so shallow. In fact, that drawing very far predates our Silly Cat which would appear only 1.285e17 twats later. (or 63 pictures later)

And yes, the title and an image is all that makes up almost all Reddit posts that I saw so far.

Is the boykisser (White Cat) Gay?

I don't know! For me you are talking about two different things at the same time! Is this important whether the character is anyway? On a side note, I can't wait until the day when NO ONE will take any such things into whatever consideration. Until that day comes, there will be no REAL equality.

NEWSFLASH: FISH ARE IN FACT VERY COOL! FISH are what started all that large-scale animal thing in the first place, and without them, you wouldn't be able to read very these lines of text. Actually, fish are what powers this world. Shame on you for treating fish like it's somehow something bad. If this hate will persist, I'll go further.

OK, in November or December there was a scandal in that Discord again where an operator lured people using this image into its server to get them share photographies of themselves. This is by itself a privacy violation (as a rule, you DO NOT share anything personal to anyone without your personal need in doing so), but someone stroke an even eviler idea to pollute it with a much nastier set of pictures.

Enough said? I thought so. Months later, but actually a few days after this web site was launched, someone somehow managed to link Some Unknown Guy~2 who tried to groom children for pedophilia using images of Silly Cat with Mauzymice herself. I haven't noticed, because I didn't really keep track of what's happening, but the fact remains. Additionally, it was discovered that she was groomed and made one (1) NSFW drawing years ago when she was a minor— and then SomeOne went figuring that she's suddenly a zoophile.

First, The Internet is impossible to trust. You should've noted it's quite similar to the incident from the previous paragraph. One question to that Some Unknown Guy~2 who decided to proceed with that— can't you think of anything else to do in this stupid world? Another question to target children— do you really want to get in these troubles? I see many do. Third question to those that believe that Mauzy is pedophile— huh? Does this even matter anyway on The Internet? Literally all times I encountered such alerts that someone is `pedophil' it's nothing more than cheap insult, once again. This's solely a Realworld thing; consider stopping bothering with that altogether.

Now, second, oh, of course people make mistakes, indeed. This was the only instance. And there're plenty of other NSFW artists if you look deep enough. Somehow no one goes against them. Then, what's zoophilia? This's merely a sexual attraction to animals. You can type in literally anything. I write: zoophilia. Does this implies that I'm zoophil? Similarly, you can draw literally anything. Does this implies anything other that you can draw? THE MERE FACT THAT SOMEONE SOMETIME PERFORMED NSFW ART COMISSION FOR SOMEONE DOES NOT, BY ANY STRETCH OF IMAGINATION, MEAN THAT THAT ONE IS ZOOPHIL.

An examples from the section above should tell you enough on how much people hated our Silly Cat during progression. Apparently, there appeared people so mad they were ready to generate dozens of full-blown death threats all over that stapling of a Cat animation with some caption from Some Unknown Guy. As the original author remained anonymous, if anyone ever bothered with determination on who made the meme in the first place, they instead started routing all of threats to Mauzymice, the author of an animation itself. This resulted in her shutting down all social outlets. How evil is it necessary to be in order to conduct THAT? Therefore, being dumb is really bad.

WHAT

You know what happened next. On a side note, there are 157 images before that damned file.

As of now, I'm currently unable to determine whether this nonsense is colling down, continues, restarts, or anything. I see multiple facts that conflict with each other. There's uncertain uncertainity… Anyone knows for sure what's going on? Too bad I can't make a direct question. I'm living in a separate world without any matching outlets. Nevertheless, I still find it worth discussing on this page as it exactly shows the state of the Internet community as of now.

As I understand, we should route thanks to `snaw--' for unf*cking the community at least to some extent. Yet according to some news, some idiots decided it would be nice to harass Snaw in just the same (or similar) way they did to Mauzy. As a result, he destroyed his Reddit account, and is not going to return anywhere anytime. Great! After all the months they still only give a sh*t.

Conclusion

1. Boykissers.
2. Dumb and demented.
3. Annoying, maddening, raping.
4. Will kill with death threats.
5. ROT.

Is this all over? Well, not at all. Once it looked like it was cooling down as people were getting literally tired of the meme, but with these evidences it seems people just can't shut up about it.

1. The sad fact is, there will always be people that can go so mad about whatever Internet thing that bothers them they would generate piles of crap over it without thinking twice— or even once— on who actually should recieve them, and are opted to harass very unrelated people like in this example. These people were always around, and they will never dissapear. Especially, most are likely to be sucked into social media network websites, partially due to The Network Effect. Think what? Do not count on them. Maybe give e-mail and websits a try. These aren't as popular places so there should be less. Yet don't forget that not everyone needs a web site.

2. Why they are here on the Internet though? Back to the 90s, the Web was going to be a buzzword and various companies promoted it. But from all of them Microsoft stands on their own— with an intent to crush Netscape they `integrated' their web browser non-removably and made connecting to the Internet as easy as never, ever, with every cough triggering Internet Connection Wizard. Wide promotion of Web surfing capabilities sure made a lot of regular users get connected. Then see what happens.

3. Lots of computer-unsavvy people on the Internet. They don't understand it any much. They don't want to be bothered building themselves a web site. However, they want to taste the power of Internet information sharing. So their wishes are fulfilled by social media network web sites. Since most of these people don't know how to use the Internet technology in safe way, they are going to just operate in the same manner they do off line, and as the Internet gives no meance to distance, any conflict quickly goes on the large scale, spaning large portions of people on line.

4. Combine this with operations of Earth's standard asocial media networks, which tweak their systems in the name of money overoptimization, not for the benefit of the Internet community. In particular, operational tweaks are made in order to keep you in the most profitable mind state, which just so happens to be the state of anger, and at the same time they attempt to lock all their users in their hellscapes, making these systems a literal Black Holes on The Web. Together with technogical fads this all creates an ideal condition for Madness Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Note also that the corporations as well consist of regular people like we themselves, which in turn creates loopback. Now, can you stand a social pressure of 1.2e44 Newtons?

5. You should be mindful that the current World Wide Web is a very, very large thing. Each one differs by some extent, have different opinions, tastes and interests, and what one could like another could really hate. This is a normal state of things in humanity. Perhaps, there're as well stereotypes shared among multitude of people. In any case, remember that life is pointless by design and particularly there's no good point can be found in letting your evil vent this way. There's a lot of places on the Web available; maybe you'll find your good place Somewhere Else.

6. Another thing, people tend to have a paradoxal nature. It's not that rare for someone to do something that strictly contrasts with normal itself. However, this isn't a usual behaviour anyway. As a part of it, some flamewar can just strictly refuse to spark for whatever reason, or it can spawn right out of the blue. That depends on people's mood, etc.

7. People should know what The Internet is and how to use it safely. As part of it, don't forget about `Netiquette'. That little set of rules should help avoiding future dramas. Unfortunately, this is something everyone (even me) seems to forget by this time.

One last thing before I go; as I'm currently studying Tolstoy, I think he's well right that we shouldn't respond with evil by evil. It was seen over and over again that it only amplifies the overall evil. Instead, try being kind to everyone, even to the one who's the worst enemy now. If so, there would be much less evil overall. (Except the evil caused by nature's predatory software that's built-in in all people's minds; this type we can only put up with)
